Christchurch July 2014

We always wanted to visit Christchurch and the famous cathedral. Unfortunately, we left it too late, and were only able to pay this beautiful city a visit after the devastating earthquakes. We still found some broken buildings there, but the people have been hard at work fixing and rebuilding this once beautiful place.

We also went on a train trip to Greymouth and experienced the Southern Alps for the first time. Awesome!

Christchurch is still a fantastic place to visit.
